I would be allowed to keep the 2 E-cylinders I have -- one in the car, one in the house. As of now (5 pm), no one from the company has called me back to discuss options. I need to call my pulmo tomorrow about the changes.
I've been a customer of their's since Dec 1999. The concentrator they gave me was paid for by BC/BS and me (80/20) after a year. Since then, they have checked it every 3 months and changed it out for another one every 10,000 hrs. I think they are now going 12,000 hrs. before changing it out. I assume they got a service contract with Medicare when I changed over. Maybe not.
Needless to say, I am very concerned.
