Good message, Gary.
I suspect folks might understand too, that COPD refers to obstruction which means we don't have so much trouble sucking breath in, but getting RID of CO2 and exchanging for O2.
Pacing oneself is the toughest thing I've had to learn, and am still learning. Everyone I know walks faster than I do now. That's fine. If I try to catch up, I'll be sob.
Life in the "slow lane" has new meaning for COPD'ers. Take your exercise walking, and improve your muscles until they actually help you stay less sob.
