Never have been hospitalized (maybe just lucky) for an exacerbation and avoid doctor shops, grandkids and pharmacies during the cold and flu season...
If I feel like I need an antibiotic a call to my Pulmo will work...Don't mean this as a guideline but just know it works for me;
you can't go wrong by following Chris's advice above...gary
