Moving to Cranbrook

Merry Christmas
I am 27 years old woman from France and I have the opportunity to work for a few months in Cranbrook at a primary school. I am trying to get settled: to find a place to stay (possibly a studio or a room with a small kitchenette) as well as a car to rent/ or to buy for the duration of my stay (my budget is limited). I am not sure anyone can help but just in case....
