T Digital TV and radio reception /allotments in Cranbrook

Hello,
I'm planning to move to the area soon and had a couple of rather boring questions ;-) I hope someone can help!
I've been suffering from the past few years from living in an are where digital TV and radio are a madman's dream owing to poor reception - how is it in Cranbrook? Can I finally abandon Sky for the joys of Freeview and get DAB radio?
Also I've been searching for allotments nearby - I found some in Hawkhurst but but can't seem to find any closer than Tunbridge Wells - are there any others? If so, where are they and are there any plots free?
