Maine Half

Yeah, I was informed late in the week that I would be running the half marathon... got up at 2:00am to leave by 3:00am... nice drive (fast) down, lots of deep thoughts about the cosmos ("do you think the guy who named 'uranus' was just trying be an asshole? no pun intended")... downed some pepto and tussin (yummy!)... saw Mike Brooks at the start who loved the skull and cross bones... was tickled pink to here the announcer welcome Gary... had a nice run myself, my first time covering the distance so I can't complain... fun meeting and chatting with new and old friends at the finish... excellent burdger at RiRa... nice drive home full of foolishness and fun!
