Congratulations 2006 Mount Desert Island Marathoners!

Just a quick note to say great job to ALL of our 2006 Mount Desert Island participants! On behalf of our host running club, our fantastic race committee, all of our important sponsors, our enthusiastic volunteers and all the wonderful communities the MDI Marathon passes through, we'd like to extend our warmest greetings and most heart felt Congratulations to you all!
It was truly our pleasure to share our roads and our island spirit with EVERYONE who took part in making the 2006 MDI Marathon such a memorable day!
Rest up, see you all soon!

PS Whoever helped make the weather happen (or not happen) as was the case! thanks for listening. It was fun to NOT feature any gale force winds, earthquakes, monsoon rains, or thunder and lightning storms, not to mention arranging to have the leaves at their outrageous peak fall colors!!! Thanks weather gods!!!!!!
