thanks everybody! Jim I heard you Caw at around 23! Yup I'm pleased with this run. I knew my pacing job at NYC felt pretty easy and it was good to go hard from the gun and run my race and not Lance's. For the record this was my 60th career marathon, 44th sub 3 and 19th sub 2:50. Not that all this old news really matters as we are all only as good as our last race. As for any special training I just run how I feel and do my best to keep it fun. Oh yes getting from Philly back to Cranberry Island on race afternoon was worth another 26M or so for sure and finally getting a shower on the island last night felt pretty darned good. Besides the planes, trains, cars, subways and boats needed to get me home I also got to bike home for the final 1M!! g --Previous Message-- : Congratulations Gary!
