This is a interesting article. http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2006/11/19/sports/NA_SPT_ATH_Philadelphia_Marathon.php what they failed to mention is WHO holds the Philadelphia Marathon course record and where he is from. The answer is of course Sam Pelletier from Fort Kent Maine, in 2:16. It tells you just how good Maine runners were/are and that even Kenyans can't match some of their performances. I thought of Sammy out there on Sunday and told myself that I had to run tough because first I am a Maine runner, and second a Crow and we all know how tough those gnarly black birds are!... --Previous Message-- : Way to go Gary!!
