With news (below) that Ryan Hall will be running a spring marathon here are my predictions of where and how he will fare in his inaugural attempt at running a marathon.
I predict he will run Boston Marathon and win in 2:06:52. It will make him the first American since Greg Meyer to win and he will set a course record in the process. That's my guess and I'm sticking to it.
At any rate, Hall has been at the top of my
(Amby Burfoot) list of those who might make the Olympic Marathon Team in their first marathon. Now, it looks like I'll be wrong. In a shocking (to me anyway!) statement after his Houston win, Hall said that he's planning to run a spring marathon.
