here is a link(below) to greg meyer's training log for 82-83 leading up to his boston marathon win in 83 (last american man to do so) what is of local interest is the week at the end of october when he ran 104 miles and and on the last day of that week ran a New England Record road 10k 28:23.6 and beat Bruce Bickford at Benjamin's 10k in Bangor by barely 2 sec... on a late kick coming by the postoffice on harlow st..
