Thank you for a wonderful day out there on Sunday! The course is beautiful, the weather was gorgeous, and the volunteers really rocked it, especially the MDI XC Team at water station 2. This marathon really meant alot to me as I "completed" it in 2002 with a time of 6:47. After many life changes, this year I had something to prove, and can proudly now say that I have "run" a marathon with a time of 4:31. I am proud of such a large PR on such a challenging course.
I know you all put endless hours in making it a great race, and I thank you for it.
And Gary...thank you for personally congratulating me at the finish. It meant alot!
