OK game on...loads of discussion about this on the Spudland Racers board.

This event IS going to happen.

1st if anyone plans on attending or taking part in the relay, buy your movie tickets now.[link below] This show will sell out.

Roger M could you take leg two?

If the movie starts at 7:30 and we want some time beforehand, AND if the relay basically starts in-town bar harbor and ends in-town brunswick, here's the splits:

(based conservatively on 8-minute miles)
(person to run leg on right -- if in BOLD, person has already purchased movie ticket)

1:30AM start - Leg 1 - Bar Harbor to Ellsworth (Rt. 3), 19-20 mi. (Gary)

4:00AM start - Leg 2 - Ellsworth to Bucksport (Rt. 1), 19-20 mi. (Roger M)

6:45AM start - Leg 3 - Bucksport to Belfast (Rt. 1), 18-19 mi. (Robert)

9:00AM start - Leg 4 - Belfast to Camden (Rt. 1), 18 mi.

11:30AM start - Leg 5 - Camden to Waldoboro (Rt. 1/Rt. 90), 18-19 mi.

2:00PM start - Leg 6 - Waldoboro to Wiscasset (Rt. 1), 18 mi.

4:30PM start - Leg 7 - Wiscasset to Brunswick (Rt. 1/West Bath Rd.), 18 mi. (Jeff)

Finish in Brunswick between 6:30 and 7:00, movie at 7:30, about 130 miles total
