Spirit of the Marathon 01-24-08 Road Report #2

Paul Fagan is working on leg 6, after taking "Oscarette" from Scotty Dorrity, who ran a very hilly 19 mile leg in 2:12 and change. Current whether is mid 20s and snow flurries (2:15pm). NOTE: Scotty ran in shorts.

We have been amazed at the kindness of complete strangers; in addition to the good folks in Belfast the folks at the Colonial Theater. Numerous people have honked and waved, as well as many who hand delivered homemade cookies and treats to our relay caravan.

We have been interviewed and photographed by three newspapers. All is going going exceedingly well, and we have covered approx. 110 miles so far. We are looking forward to arriving in Brunswick soon!
