"The Pine Tree Road Runner" by Roland Dyer on April of 1969...to November, a total of 36 races of 1 to 26 milers was on the agenda...quite impressive for Maine at the time...Hard work by Dyer, Ross & many other people that sponsored these events....B

What a coincidence! I started on the MRH stuff yesterday, but didn't get anything completed enough to post... Bob, what kind of 26 milers are in that copy of the Pine Tree Runner? I don't we ave anything from 1969... Did you ever get back any of the results you loaned out (not to me)? I really think we need to come visit you sometime to run and talk about running in the glory days... guess we all were thinking about the same things yesterday!! Mary our self taught, resident and expert web designer started working again on the Maine Running History http://www.mainerunninghistory.org/ site yesterday after a lay off which can be attributed to the 24/7 schedule of school and race directing anyway since we (she) left it we have recieved volumes of results and things to scan which all will be appearing soon in the coming weeks at MRH.
