Bob, any chance I can gently convice you(bribe) to keep me company on the BAA route on Jan 1?. I have found this test drive to be VERY helpful in learning the little things about the route and how to race it come spring. Anyone else that might like to begin the year with a nice long run see you in Hopkinton Jan 1 2007, starting at 6:00am sharp. G..My wife & i got an early pre-run @ Boston last week (she drove ahead for "light purposes")--traffic was still heavy in the a.m., but, found my way to the finish....3:19+....quite warm, actually...Will be in Denver w/ our son on 1-1-07----Will be getting together w/ many of my daughter's friends in Boulder on her passing in the tsunami (12-26-04) in Sri Lanka....Gary, the best to you & family this holiday....The run was to stay smooth----I believe we can go ---2:50 B.. --Previous Message-- : Bob, any chance I can gently convice : you(bribe) to keep me company on the BAA : route on Jan 1?. I have to ask, when was the last time you ran 26.2 miles?......also you are 61 right and ran a training marathon in 3:19!!!!! your entry will be official shortly just set it back to SV on tues...amazing that you just decided to run a full marathon after only having run one!!! I love runners who break the rules and do what they need to do and when they feel like doing it.
