Posted by Larry on August 27, 2007, 7:48 pm, in reply to "Nedicus Northeast Harbor Road Race report, pacing" I am out of it now but coached pretty fast folks and ran reasonably well for a good while.. I can give you lots of road/track proven strategies for training and racing at about any distance. If you've only been at it for 8 months, you could probably drop 3-4 minutes off these times with 2 yrs of focused work. send me an email (pineallen@aol) and i'll give you what i've got. --Previous Message-- |

On the other hand I know you noticed the first woman as she blazed past our murder. Historically woman run very smart and pace even or run negative splits. Its interesting to me that she's the only one who ran negative splits out of of anyone in the top 20. Besides training the single best bit of advice all runners should practice is patience. cheers g Here's a quote from our QUOTE page, we should all live by this, because we certainly die when we don't "Most mistakes in a race are made in the first two minutes, perhaps in the very first minute." -Jack Daniels |
