Thank you for a wonderful day out there on Sunday! The course is beautiful, the weather was gorgeous, and the volunteers really rocked it, especially the MDI XC Team at water station 2. This marathon really meant alot to me as I "completed" it in 2002 with a time of 6:47. After many life changes, this year I had something to prove, and can proudly now say that I have "run" a marathon with a time of 4:31. I am proud of such a large PR on such a challenging course. I know you all put endless hours in making it a great race, and I thank you for it. And Gary...thank you for personally congratulating me at the finish. It meant alot!

Suzanne, I meant a lot to me to see you finish. The tears of pain finally being replaced with tears of joy were almost as good for me as they were for you I think. I have to wonder what you felt like when you passed the exact spot where it unraveled for you on your way to the finish line on Sunday? Life changes huh? Heck you sure that's really you?? When you spoke to me in BH a couple of weeks ago I was and still am dumbfounded, you are a whole new person!!
