Posted by Gary Allen, race director on October 17, 2007, 11:14 am, in reply to "Thank you from a walker" Anyone who covers 26.2 miles on foot is a marathoner in our minds, as long as I'm involved in this event we will embrace every single competitor and will never impose a time limit or make anyone feel not welcome because of their experience or lack of. Becoming a marathoner at age 50 is absolutely superb! It is so great that this is your first athletic competition! We welcome you and everyone to consider getting on the Crow Athletics, long black train by becoming a member of our host club, Crow Athletics. We love our Crow symbol and feel 'they' apply to what we all do including just being out there all the time while at times not getting the respect we all deserve. Not to mention Crows like marathoners are found in all 50 states and just won't get out of the road. CAW! CAW! CAW! Gary Join Crow Athletics (click below) and get on the long black train!! http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?RESET=0&EVENT_ID=1266345&CHECKSSO=1 |

I also walked it and had a fantastic time. Hope to see you next year! I am signed up to walk the Philadelphia marathon next month. Hope this is the start of many other marathons for you also! --Previous Message-- |
