Maine's ONLY showing coming to Brunswick on 1-24. Maybe we can run there? Relay from MDI? We'll show them our, "spirit of the marathon"!

I usually go to that theatre and they always show the preview for it...gets me pretty excited.

jeff, according to mapquest it is 152.38 miles from Bar Harbor to Brunswick. Well it gets a bit fishy in Bath, but I live around there so I know how to get around Route 1. Needless to say I'm in for the final 16 miles from my house in Wiscasset to the Theatre in Brunswick!

Im going to have to do that ASAP as well. Did you see Mr. Gomez put down a tentative schedule or time frame for the legs to get to Brunswick on time?

I am still lurking in the shadows if something comes up! Stuff like this keeps running fresh and fun. I would be sure to run a piece of pavement never seen by my feet. This is a lot of running all for the pursuit of fun. Will Smith made a few bucks for the "Pursuit of Happiness". Gary on another note have you ever thought about running for a benefit? You could kill a couple of birds (certainly not CROWS)with one stone. You could get the challenge of a nice fundraiser and still have the test of a big fun run. I was thinking a run like Kittery to Fort Kent. It would be around 400 miles. Break it up over a week and run 50 miles a day. roger If you'd take a leg (20ish) I think we have almost enough to 'run to the movies' I'll do some calculating and see when we'd have to start and approx leg assignments. Yes I've thought of running long for charity/fun. Lately a good portion of my running has been point to point, seems as I get older ( wiser??) I like to run to get somewhere as opposed to just going in circles. This event IS going to happen. 1st if anyone plans on attending or taking part in the relay, buy your movie tickets now.[link below] This show will sell out. Roger M could you take leg two? Gary, I am running a marathon double this weekend in Californai at Diamond Valley Lake and Carlsbad. I am pacing so it should not take to much out of me.
