We are sorry to hear about the cancellation of the Maine Woods Marathon and would like to extened a sincere invitation to those runners to come run long with us on July 19th at the 2nd Annual Great Cranberry Island Ultra. http://www.crowrunning.com/gci_ultras.html We are happy to offer a discount to all registered Maine Woods Marathon competitors. Please use the printable form found below to enter http://www.crowrunning.com/2008_races_online.pdf and deduct $10 from the posted entry fee. Note: Entry fees include tech shirts, medals and a post race lobster feed. We also encourage volunteers, or other runners who may want to come out and do a training run and then stay for the festivities.

Dear Mr Maineiac we just got out of rehab and we're ready!!! cheers,hic.... seriously this place has seen a lot of running and fun over the years even being compared to Hayward Field by some. yup me and Lindsey Lohan are of the same mold... quitters...laugh! I hope to hand you a pint at the finish line (and maybe a couple of sips enroute to give you the power!
