I have learned that the important thing for me is to not put all my eggs in one basket.
As for moving - I moved to another state and my notary business did not suffer at all.
: Hello,
:
: I have been a Notary Signing Agent for
: over 2 years now. I like what I do and
: I have been relately successful. More
: importantly, I'm good at being a
: signing agent. It was always part-time
: for me, but I still treated my
: business seriously.
:
: However, now I am considering letting
: this business go. Only because for the
: past few months I've made less then
: $200. The worst and best part is that
: I am moving and would be able to have
: my notary money as EXTRA money and now
: business has gone down hill.
:
: I read the previous post about the
: "encouraging news", but I'm
: still skepitcal, mainly because there
: are so many sub-prime lenders that
: have "gone under".
:
: Also, it seems that my normally
: regular and pay on time companies I
: now have to call and try and hunt down
: payments. It's been difficult with the
: major decrease in business and the
: minor payment issues. (I say minor
: because I get paid but I just have to
: make calls about payments more
: regularly.)
:
: Anyway, I just want to get others
: opinions and experiences on how their
: notary business is going. Thanks!
