If you want to do more than one signing a day, unless you get the docs well in advance, you either have to have a mobile equipment set up or return to your office or spend time there waiting for docs to print. Edocs frequently tie up much more of our time than is readily apparent, potentially preventing us from accepting assignments that we might otherwise have been able to take. All of these factors should be taken into consideration when establishing pricing. I don't believe it's reasonable for anyone to expect us to print docs for little more than the cost of materials. --Previous Message--

"It's not just the toner & paper, it's the time and hassle that usually goes along with edocs."
: $15.00 is not enough. LSI tried the
: same thing a few months ago. They
: still call me and pay the $25.00 that
: I charge. It's not just the toner
: & paper, it's the time and hassle
: that usually goes along with edocs.

: BTW Wendy, did you get a letter from
: SL demanding a background check? I
: find it eye-rolling that now, after
: closing 500+ loans for them, they want
: me to go thru the NNA for a BGC. I'm
: interested to hear what others are
: doing.

: I just had to turn down another
: Service
: Link e-doc job because they are now
: only offering $15.00 for a print fee.
: My costs are only going up for paper,
: toner, etc. Do yourselves a favor and
: turn down jobs that short change for
: print fees and signing fees. Why
: should they make all of the profit at
: our expense?
