Sorry I tried that as well. I started the process early but the SOS informed me that they will not renew my commission until after the 1st of the year since my current renewal doesn't expire until 1/06/08. They are purposely holding my renewal until than and there is nothing I can do about.
Plus the fingerprint and photo req. has to be met every four year no matter what. I guess it just the cost of doing business.
