Being in this business for almost 15 years I've seen it all. Yes, lots of companies will try to get you to work for $50, but you're in control & can tell them what your fee is. If they don't like it, let them find someone else. I don't walk out my front door for less than $75. I use to do lots of work with Nations Direct, but when they dropped their fee to $40 I told them don't bother calling me. ( I starting in this business with Jeff Stone's father!) Same goes for SOX, I no longer will wait 90 days to get paid and as for the no pays, well that's part of being in business for yourself. You hope that it doesn't happend too often. I too have been burned by A&L & Pinnacle RE. Fortunately, most companies are honest & pay within 30 days. Those that don't I just write off. There's enuf companies out there looking for good CSA! Any comments??
