I had a first on a signing this evening - a borrower kept me almost 40 minutes after his loan signing trying to sell me on the benefits of his network marketing venture.
Now, I can appreciate anyone trying to get a new business off the ground but the one bad thing about some people involved with MLMs is that they are a little too passionate about what they are selling.
The borrower's (husband & wife) appointment was already a late one being at 8:30 p.m. and it lasted an hour so to then be there another 40 minutes was just a little much. I was finally able to exit when I told him my husband would be waiting for me.
Once again, it's never a dull day as a notary.
