black marks

A month or so ago I did a signing for an Indymac loan. This was for a SOS that I have worked for for a long time. They came back and said that I did not get a signature and date on the TIL. I went back out and the borrower remembered signing and dating the TIL. I had her sign and date the new one and sent it in. This morning I received a call from the SOS stating that they were putting a black mark on my record for this error. Since there was no error (I have no proof of this) do I have any recourse? I know the answer but it is good to vent!!!
