Wow! It only took a day or two to process the application. Good thing your employer is not in CA. (It takes a good 2 months to process) Good luck with it all.

: The book simply states "Oklahoma
: law allows use of metal or rubber
: stamp"
:
: When I saw "allows" instead
: of "requires" I had to ask.
: I have never done anything in the
: field of notary, so this is all new to
: me. My job required/requested me to
: get a notary, and my employer was
: already unhappy that it took the SS
: more then a day or two to process my
: application...my employers don't wait
: days for anything, so they wanted me
: signing today... I had to ask to cover
: myself, so thank you for your quick
: reply.

: You absolutely need to wait for your
: seal. You might also want to learn
: your state notary manual because the
: answer is in that book.
: Good luck!

: I have just reciently recieved my
: notary
: for the state of Oklahoma, I have also
: ordered my seal/stamp. My bonding and
: filing are all complete, I am simply
: waiting for my seal/stamp.
:
: My question is am I able to notarize
: documents without a stamp/seal, just
: using my number etc? Or do I need to
: wait until my stamp arives?
