Branda,
The reason why I said he should use hard cover is because the binding for the hard cover is different from the soft cover.
It is kind of hard to write in the middle part for the soft cover but the hard cover is made very easy to write in that part.
I can't really say that I recommand NNA notary journal because it is the only one i've used.
As for the Notary Signing Agent Log, it is very useful. I didn't find it anywhere else.

: While I am definitely no fan of the NNA
: I have heard they had a handy
: "signing agent journal"
: which was unique and helpful to
: signing agents. (As I understand it
: not a notary journal.)
:
: So, I'd be interested in the qualities
: of those in their notary journal which
: you like...Would you please elaborate
: on their notary journal...what you
: like about it?
:
: Thanks.

: Ok that last request got a bit
: hijacked........
:
: It looks like a few out there are fans
: of check off's for document type. I'm
: not sure I'm sold on the concept. I'm
: personally rather detailed, and list
: the exact name of the document (word
: for word, typo's included), in case I
: ever get called into court, just like
: I list every document on a separate
: line, so when requests for a document
: are made I don't provide more than
: what is requested, and become a
: provider of information not known.
:
: My main interest is moving the
: mandatory info off of the binding (as
: exists in the NNA journal), and
: putting "optional" info
: boxes there (not that I don't use them
: also).
