Question: I was an escrow officer so i always made copy of the borrower's ID and kept it for myself. This was very useful when the lender requested copy of ID later on. As a Loan Signing Agent, you may ask the borrowers to make copy of their ID, but what if they don't have access to a copy machine or they forget?
Is it ok to take picture of their ID with your digital camera?
