... Renegotiation should take place as soon as you realize that an adjustment is necessary. That is, upon receipt of the documents. Of course, I understand that there may be some times when you need to renegotiate after the signing due to complications or circumstances at the signing, but any document-centric renegotiations should be accomplished prior to the actual signing.
