It seems to me that an opportunity for the principal to review the dox prior to the signing engagement, then communicating approval to their AIF, would be very rare. In most instances, we ourselves have a hard enough time getting the dox within two hours (or less) before the appointment to meet. I just can't imagine the scenario painted by Lisa T (below) very likely happening.
