I AGAIN state what has happened the the borrower in this equation? Does the borrower NOT have any responsibility? Geesh, it's an instant gratification society, I want it NOW. I can't remember the last refi I had that DIDN'T list numerous credit cards or car dealers to be paid off. To put the blame totally on the lender is one of the most ridiculous statements I have heard yet. People live beyond their means then want to blame someone else. Pleasssssssseeeeeeee... Becca hit it spot on...do your job, go home and don't get personally involved. One can NEVER know a person's spending habits by merely spending 45 mins. at the table.
