Conkers, push them into a pot of compost, water them they will grow.
Maple seeds, also grow easily.
The same with Acorn seeds.
Make your own compost, collect fallen leaves, shred them, put them in an old dustbin or bin bag then let nature take its cause.
The one expense you might find is the pots to grow them in. Friends, neighbors etc most probably have old pots that you can use, if not make your own out of egg boxes.
Its not rocket science, & it doesn't cost you a penny, just a little bit of your time.
