Anyone remember the crowd funded Luton flag from about 20 years ago? Didn't the bloke doing it trouser the money, and the flag never appeared? CIA

I think the dispute was over his claim of ownership and his subsequent reluctance to let others display the flag as he claimed he had done most of the legwork getting it made and possibly also because put up the lions share of the costs, although could be wrong about the latter. I know I donated a small amount towards it. He eventually agreed to let it be displayed in G block where it's been ever since. And it was obviously displayed outside at Wembley for the paint pot final.

He was a total dick about it all! He didn’t raise enough to cover the cost for it so refused to let the club have it, instead kept it in his garage
It got quite heated at a night away game once between him and a few fans and llsc came to an agreement to buy it off him
