I think you should read up on the rules of being a barrister. If their 'turn' comes round to defend someone they HAVE to do it if it is in their area of skill/expertise/etc. Persona feelings do not come into it. Otherwise they risk disciplinary procedures

Well if you look at what the Tories are currently doing, it's pretty much designed to try and make that happen. Dig into their spending plans and for some mysterious reason the pain of paying for it is mostly deferred until the next Parliament . . .

You still haven't answered the point I made weeks ago about migrants. Let me remind you what it was. In the Thatcherite years (that hero of your's) Norman Tebbit famously told low paid or unemployed workers to "get on yer bike" to find higher paid jobs. In other words take some personal responsibility for the situation and do something about it. These migrants are coming over to the UK to do exactly that. They've listened to Norman Tebbit and following his teaching - good, solid, right-wing policy. And now you want to stop them? But hypocritical don't you think? So which is it, accept your rubbish standard of living or do something about it like the boat people?
