    Barkley

Currently are best player and the person who is grabbing games by the balls. I would make him skipper for Saturday - has the Prm experience and is thriving under Robbie Edwards.

If he's fit, I'd make Osho the skipper. I think he'd thrive on it.

I'd leave Barkley alone, let him get on with what he is doing and don't mess with it.

Yep, I'd agree with both of you.

Actually, when you think about it there doesn't seem to be an outstanding candidate in the pointing and shouting envelope. I'd be happy for whomever takes his position in the team to be the nominal Captain and notionally channel their inner Lockyer. In a kind of 'not here but still with us' manner, if that makes any kind of sense outside of my head.

              Cheers, Jim

Yes, I think he's going to be a huge miss for us.

Maybe we should bring back Danny Hylton .

If we think about guaranteed starters going forward in every game, who do we have?

              Kaminski
              Barkley
              Nakamba
              Doughty

I’m sure I’ve missed at least one so feel free to jump in and correct me.

Some people mentioned Bell - is he a guaranteed starter though? He’s played pretty much every game he’s been available but much of that I think might be due to the fact we’ve rarely had more than 3/4 centre-backs available at any time!

                Doughty for me.

His aggression and determination speak volumes.

I think he can be more vocal if given the platform.

thing is, we dont know what these blokes are really like.

“every player should be a captain” cliche.

That is a fair point and without Locks we do miss that voice

How about Osho, he shouts a bit

If you want experience, Townsend would be the one for me, his give 110% every minute works.

But I like Osho also as a left field shout. He stood tall in the playoff final in the middle and think it could bring his game on even more.
